Why learn with me
I’m a native Italian speaker and a trained Italian teacher, and I’ve spent years helping English speakers move from “I understand, but I can’t speak” to real, comfortable conversation.
I grew up inside the Italian language – its rhythms, shortcuts, unspoken rules – and I’ve learned how to explain it clearly in English, without overcomplicating things or turning it into an academic exercise.
That means you don’t just learn what to say, but why Italians say it that way, and when it actually makes sense to use it.
My classes are built around real spoken Italian, cultural context, and gentle repetition. We practice together, live, in small groups, at a human pace. Mistakes are expected. Pauses are normal. Progress happens quietly, week by week.
If you’re looking for perfect grammar or exam-style Italian, I’m probably not the right teacher.
If you want to speak Italian with more confidence, understand how Italians really communicate, and feel comfortable opening your mouth without panic – you’re in the right place.
